MIA Four: Forward Deployment for Fire and Rescue

MIA Dynamics USA gives fire departments an all-terrain electric platform that moves personnel and equipment past the point where apparatus must stop. Brush, sand, debris fields, stairwells, campus interiors, festival grounds, trail systems — the MIA FOUR puts a company officer, a rescue crew, or a set of tools on scene while the engine is still working access roads.

KEY BENEFITS AT A GLANCE

Extending the Reach of Every Engine Company

Forward Deployment

Size-up starts when someone gets eyes on the problem. The MIA FOUR puts a company officer or rescue crew at the scene while apparatus is still negotiating access roads, gates, and parking structures — turning dead minutes into working minutes.

Reaches What Apparatus Can't

Engines and ladders stop at the curb. Four-wheel independent suspension takes the MIA FOUR across grass, sand, gravel, debris fields, trail systems, beach access, and packed crowds that a full-size rig physically cannot follow.

Deployable Indoors

Fully electric — no exhaust, no engine noise. Operate inside parking garages, service corridors, terminals, arenas, and concourses where combustion equipment isn't permitted and a hand-carry is the only alternative.

Carries the Load

Over 1,000 lbs of towing capacity plus cargo and rack mounts. Move hose, hand tools, RIT bags, air bottles, rehab supplies, and scene equipment to where the work is — instead of humping it in on foot.

REAL-WORLD APPLICATIONS

Fire & Rescue Operations

Fire departments covering large jurisdictions, sprawling campuses, or open terrain need a way to get personnel and equipment forward before apparatus can position. The MIA FOUR extends the working reach of every engine and truck company.

01 — CAMPUS, INDUSTRIAL & RESTRICTED ACCESS

Universities, hospitals, refineries, ports, and industrial complexes are built around access points apparatus can't use — service corridors, underground levels, pedestrian-only zones, gated interiors, structures set hundreds of yards off the road. The MIA FOUR moves through all of it, indoors included, with no exhaust in an enclosed space. First-arriving personnel start size-up and locate the seat of the problem while apparatus works the access road.

02 — BRUSH, BEACH & OPEN TERRAIN

Brush fires, dune and beach incidents, canal banks, greenways, and construction sites put the emergency well past the last paved surface. Four-wheel independent suspension carries a crew and equipment across sand, muck, and uneven ground where a brush truck can't fit and a hose lay on foot costs you the fire. Up to 75 miles of range covers extended perimeter work without cycling back for fuel.

REAL-WORLD APPLICATIONS

Fire & Rescue Operations

03 — EVACUATION & CROWD EGRESS

During building evacuations, high-rise incidents, and emergency egress at large events, fire and rescue crews need mobility and visibility across a wide perimeter. The MIA FOUR lets personnel direct crowd flow, locate and assist mobility-impaired occupants, sweep exit routes, and maintain contact with EMS and command across an incident footprint too large to cover on foot.

04 — SCENE LOGISTICS & REHAB SUPPORT

Long incidents run on resupply. With over 1,000 lbs of towing capacity, the MIA FOUR shuttles air bottles, hose, hand tools, water, and rehab supplies between staging and the working area — keeping crews on task and freeing the utility truck for other assignments.
